THIN MINT ICE CREAM

This is obviously a very 1 month out of the year kind of dessert, but the base for this recipe can be used for anything. Enjoy adding whatever you want inside and trust me it'll turn out great!

Ingredients:


 

  • 1 cup Whole Milk

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp white sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 10-12 thin mint cookies

Instructions:


 

1. Combine whole milk, white sugar & salt together, until sugar and salt dissolve.

2. Add heavy cream & vanilla extract, mix well.

3. Once fully combined, place in the fridge covered for a minimum of 2 hours, or up to 24 hours max.

4. Using a Cuisinart ice cream maker, or any other type of ice cream maker, add mixture. Let spin for 5 minutes.

5. Add crushed up thin mints. Let spin for 10-15 minutes. 

6. Serve with a thin mint on top and enjoy!
