Fresh Ricotta w/green onion powder & tangerine

Making the green onion powder for this recipe is time consuming, but well worth the while. The flavor is so pungent and out there that it adds a different element to this dip.

P.S. I use a dehydrator for the green onion powder but an onion works as well

Ingredients:

  • Ricotta from previous recipe

  • 3 large bunches green onions

  • 1 tangerine supreme

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions:

1. Start by separating the greens of your green onions from the white's.

2. Set your dehydrator to 125F, or your onion to its lowest heat setting. Carefully line out the green onions and bake for 6 hours, or until crispy.

3. Place your green onions in a blender and blend on high for 5-6 minutes. Run through a sieve.

4. You should now be left with green onion powder.

5. Assemble your dip and Enjoy!
