CRISPY GARLIC SHRIMP
This may be controversial but I prefer shrimp with the shell on. I think that it locks in the flavors of the shrimp meat better and allows you to suck the seasonings out of the shell. This dish was a hit with Ilayda and I hope you enjoy.

P.S. don't be afraid to get the garlic and ginger extra crispy
Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp (shell on)

1 tsp kosher salt

5 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp white sugar
-
2 tbsp ginger (minced)

1 tbsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp vebetable oil
-
1 tsp cayenne
-
2 tbsp salted butter
-
4 tbsp AP flour
-
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tbsp onion powder
-
1 stalk green onion
-
2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, salt, sugar, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and AP flour.
2. In a pan, on medium heat,sauté garlic and ginger in vegetable oil until brown.
3. Once brown add in butter. Cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add shrimp and cook for roughly 2-3 minutes each side.
5. Add cilantro and toss. Season to taste with kosher salt and top with green onions. Serve with white rice.
