MOMMA'S GOOEY CAKE

If there's any cake you can only make once a year, it's this one. Don't be afraid to let the cake sit overnight in the fridge (I think it's better cold).

Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
4 eggs, room temperature
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb powdered sugar (I’m not kidding)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Combine cake mix, butter, and two eggs, until combined and thick.
In a separate bowl combine two eggs, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
In a 9”x9” pan spread Crisco to keep the cake from sticking.
Add the cake mix, spread evenly.
Layer the powdered sugar mixture on top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes and let rest for 30 minutes (This is best served cold), Enjoy!
